Week of August 22 – August 26

MONDAY

Sports:

Poms will be holding auditions for the junior varsity team from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the commons. Those trying out should come prepared to dance. For more information, visit the poms website or see head coach, Keri Trimble.

Clubs:

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will be holding their first meeting at 7 p.m. in the choir room.

 

TUESDAY

Sports:

Cheer tryouts will be happening from 3 p.m to 5 p.m. in the commons.

Clubs:

Speech and Debate will be hosting an interest meeting in U312 at 3 p.m. Come for cookies and learn something new. For additional information, see Shannon Vance.

 

WEDNESDAY

Clubs:

Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) will be holding an interest meeting from 2:50 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in U413.  

School Activities:

The spring break Costa Rica sea turtle trip will be having an interest meeting at 5:30 p.m in L517.

Back to School Night will be occurring at 6:30 p.m to 9 p.m in the commons. 

 

THURSDAY

Sports:

Boys Tennis vs. Legend at 3:30 p.m.

-JV @ Legend High School

-Varsity @ Redstone Community Park

 

Clubs:

Believe It or Not I Care (BIONIC) will be having an informational meeting during SOAR at 8:30 a.m. in U313. There are also applications outside of Elena Paich’s door.

The environmentalist club, Roots and Shoots, will be holding an interest meeting during SOAR at 8 a.m. in U413

 

 

FRIDAY

Sports:

Girls Softball vs. Cherokee Trail at 4:30

-All levels @ Mountain Vista High School

 

Cross Country will be hosting an All Level Invitational at Mountain Vista at 3:30 p.m.

School Activities:

Seniors: Get up early and come to the football turf for your Senior Sunrise. There will be free pancakes, orange juice and Starbucks Coffee, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.

 

SATURDAY

School Activities:

Boy’s tennis will be hosting the Ford Test Drive Event from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. in the bus loop. Come to support and raise money for the tennis program.

Field hockey will be hosting the Stick It To Cancer fundraiser on the football field from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Marching band will perform in the Colorado State Fair Parade
