Today is officially the start of the 2015-2016 National Football League season. These games the first week will undoubtedly live up to the hype that was created over the offseason.
The first game tonight is one for the books as Super Bowl XLIX Champions, the New England Patriots, play the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is the Patriots’ first game since the Deflategate appeal case ended, allowing Tom Brady to play in the four regular season games he was going to miss because of the incident during the 2015 American Football League Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Although the other games throughout the weekend are going to be action packed and full of new rookies to boost your fantasy team, the Patriots vs. Steelers game will be monumental.
This may be one of the most anticipated games of the week but, if you are in a league where you pick a team each week to win, I would pick the Green Bay Packers. They are playing the Chicago Bears in Chicago on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
I know this is an away game for the Packers and they lost arguably one of the best receivers in the NFL (Jordy Nelson), but I am confident that during this game they will pull out a win. It will be their sixth consecutive win against the Bears in Chicago.
Although the Packers seem to be at a disadvantage I still am confident they will beat the Bears.
