Top 5 Television Shows of 2013

In this day and age people from around the world spend a lot of time watching television shows, whether it be live or off of Netflix. Some shows were definitely more popular than others in 2013, and these shows were some of the favorites of this year.

5.  Glee– Fox’s Glee is a musical comedy series about a group of highly talented students who are apart of a glee club as an escape from high school drama. The students participate in many different choir images-1competitions and all have amazing voices. Internet Movie Database rates it as 6.9/10.

4. Teen Wolf– This MTV drama is about a high school student named Scott McCall who is transformed into a werewolf after being bitten. This show can be dark and suspenseful at times, and comedic at others. The program focuses on how he and his friends get through difficult situations in order to survive. IMDb rated it as 7.5/10.

3. American Horror Story– If you like creepy and dark shows this is the show for you. FX’s American Horror Story is a series that focuses on different characters and different locations from haunted houses to insane asylums to even a witch coven. IMDb rates this show at an 8.4/10.

2. Breaking Bad– AMC’s hit television show was popular amongst people of every age and background this year. The show follows the 2-year story of Walter White, a man who ‘breaks bad’ when he turns 50 by producing and selling crystal meth. He does this to provide for his family after being diagnosed with cancer. Overall it is very well written and appealing to virtually everyone. IMDb rated this show as a 9.5/10.

1. Pretty Little Liars– This drama on ABC family is extremely popular with teenage girls around the world. It follows the events that take place with a group of four girls after their best friend is murdered. Season 4 premiered this year with 3-4 million views per episode. IMDb rated the program as an 8/10.
