The varsity tennis team went to Grand Junction for Regionals on Oct. 6. The team is currently 8-2 and is looking to win at Regionals and hopefully place at State. The 5A State Tennis Tournament will be at the Gates Tennis Center Oct. 13-15.
The singles players at Regionals are seniors Ben Antonsen (No. 1 Singles) and Hunter Hostelley (No. 3 Singles), in addition to sophomore Max Probst at No. 2 Singles.
They are joined with Seniors Matt Szmyd and Grant Smith at No. 1 Doubles, sophomore Collin Bean and junior Tommy Hipp at No.2 Doubles, along with junior Brian Benson and senior Chris Schauer (no. 3 Doubles) and freshman Naman Kapasi and senior Cameron Mahoney (No. 4 Doubles).
If you have nothing going on over fall break, make sure to come and support the Tennis team in their journey for the state title.
