The varsity golf team played at the Murphy Creek Golf Course on Aug. 27. The team teed off started at 9 a.m. agaisnt Rock Canyon, Thunder Ridge, Heritage, Regis Jesuit and Cherry Creek High Schools.
Junior, Justin Holobaugh returned to the Varsity golf team for his second season with new personal goals. After practicing all Summer, Holobaugh’s main goal was to get all the way to the state tournament.
“All of these tournaments make state possible and allow me to get better before I have to fight for my spot,” Holobaugh said. “I am very thankful for all of the support from my family, teammates, and coaches.”
Varsity golf plays again on Wednesday Sept. 5, at Plum Creek Golf Course. The team tees off at 7:45 a.m.
