REGAN LAVALLEE
Friday, Jan. 15, Douglas County School District (DCSD) held a luncheon at Chaparral High School to recognize the accomplishments of 108 girls. These girls excel in sports and academics at both middle and high school levels across Douglas County.
Past DCSD female athletes spoke to these young athletes to inspire them to continue to live a balanced life.
This year, seniors Molly McCabe (basketball,) Mallory Pugh (soccer,) Giselle Sawaged (soccer,) Allison Osowski (poms,) and Kendra Lavallee (tennis,) represented Mountain Vista at the luncheon. Of these five, McCabe, Osowski, and Lavallee were able to attend the luncheon.
