Tuesday, Sept. 1st marks the day for the first ever mini-college fair. With 18 colleges in attendance from Colorado and all over the country students were given the opportunity to talk with administrative personel from the schools.
Lindsey Jaffe-Miller brought her personal finance class down to the fair during fifth period. “What people don’t know is that the people that are here [from the colleges] are the ones that actually look over applications. So it’s really important for them to make some face-time and let people know that they’re interested,” Jaffe said.
Each college offered information about their school such as tuition fees, scholarship opportunities, campus life, degrees and more.
Cindy Galligan, part of the counseling department, helped coordinate the mini-college fair alongside “We want to make sure that the reps are available for our students to talk to,” Galligan said.
