“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” directed by Anthony and Joe Russo is definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time.
As the film opens up, Steve Rodgers, played by Chris Evans, is still adjusting to his life in the 21st century.
The entire nation has obviously fallen in love with him; there’s even an exhibit of his detailed life in the Smithsonian. As Captain America visits the museum to see his own life, all that comes to mind is his friend Bucky Barnes, played by Sebastian Stan, who Rodgers believes died years ago.
Bucky Barnes soon returns in Captain America’s life and it causes them to have to fight against each other. This messes with Captain Americas mind as he has to realize that the person he is fighting is no longer his best friend, but his enemy.
The film is constantly keeping you on the edge of your seat between romance, action and comedy, clearly capturing the diversity of the directors. It seems that Captain America is now well on its way to possibly being one of the best superhero stories of all time.
On top of the acting and the story line, the production was also amazing. The special effects were extremely lifelike when regarding the ships and aircraft.
Overall, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of the best movies currently in theatres. It’s definitely a film I’d recommend as it is well worth the money. The film deserves a four out of five rating.
