On Saturday, Sept. 23, Mountain Vista Choir joined seven elementary school choirs and one middle school for the annual Feeder Festival. All of the Vista choirs were represented at the event including the Golden Silhouettes, Goldtones, Syncopation and men’s and women’s Concert Choirs. This has been an annual event for over five years and has grown every year to include more choir students from the feeder area.
“It’s fun to hear all of the young kids sing all of the songs we sang as elementary students,” sophomore Samantha Garvey said.
“It reminds me of when I was in elementary school and in that choir. That’s what inspired me to be a part of choir in high school,” junior Julia Driggs said.
Choir has their first concert of the school year next Monday, Oct. 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.
